Alex and Caitlin’s journey began in 2018, when they met for their first date at a cozy Starbucks in the heart of New York City. Little did Caitlin’s father, John, know that what he thought was a simple interview trip for his daughter would turn into something much more exciting. After dropping Caitlin off for her interview, she secretly met up with Alex for their first date.

Caitlin was beaming as she made her way back to Grand Central. On the train ride back to Westchester, John turned to Caitlin and asked, “So, how did the interview go?” Without missing a beat, Caitlin replied, “I think I want to marry this man!” The confusion on John’s face was priceless, and it wasn’t until Caitlin spilled the beans about the secret date that it all started to make sense to him.

From that moment on, their story was set in motion. Over the years, Alex and Caitlin have shared so many wonderful experiences—from sun-soaked trips to the beach house to exciting travels with family and friends. They also welcomed a mini dachshund into their family named Poppy who quickly stole both of their hearts (and most of the bed). Alex even took on the challenge of teaching Caitlin how to golf (with plenty of laughs along the way).

The next chapter of their love story began in one of the most beautiful and special moments of their relationship—Alex’s proposal. While visiting the Chatham Lighthouse, Alex surprised Caitlin with a proposal at the beach, where he had secretly gathered their closest family and friends to celebrate the moment with them. It was a perfect, unforgettable day filled with love, joy, and the beginning of a lifetime of memories to come.

Their relationship has been filled with love, adventure, and countless moments of joy. As they prepare to say “I do,” they look back on their beautiful journey and are excited to continue building a life together, filled with laughter, love, and many more adventures to come.
